The Spiral of Growth: Living with Presence

raw beauty

As I explore the rest of the world, I’ve noticed that travel is not only about what you see but mostly about who you meet. Travel is about opening your heart, opening your eyes, elevating your senses and, as a consequence: growth.

The way I experience it is simple: through curiosity, I allow myself to open. It’s not about what I see or what I can share on social media platforms. My experience, since the beginning, has been the people I met, those with whom I connect, and also those with whom I don’t.

My connections come from love and beauty. I take the time to observe people before I open up. I believe the energies we exchange craft our heart, shape our mind, and design our present, deepened in our future steps and aligned with our past motions. Sometimes, the heart will melt, fracture, or beat even stronger. The way we feel and experience all of this allows us to grow if we let it be.

Growth is not linear. It unfolds in slow movements, in sync with our breath and mental state. When you vibrate at a lower frequency, facing distractions and discomfort, your body, mind, and soul synchronize with those experiences, making your steps heavier, harder like walking into mud. When you vibrate at a higher frequency, opening your heart, embracing the unknown, letting go of beliefs and expectations, you align with an active life path. The soul expands, the heart softens, and your wings move freely, like a butterfly. Yet even this lightness can be tiring.

Between these states, there is peace, moments of silence to process, to feel, to digest and to learn. In these pauses, when you are truly with yourself, free of distractions and polluted ideas, you grow, but only if you allow it. It happens within. You feel it: the comfort, the alignment, the stillness in water after a wave crashes. And even then, the water is already moving back, preparing you for the next experience, the next wave of motion and emotion. Let the highs and lows flow through your body and balance your soul. Create space between these notes: where action turns into feeling, movement into creation, and where you can observe how distractions shape your mind.

Growth is not easy. It is challenging. Yet it is not selfish or lonely. It arises when you pass through the lows and bloom in the highs. It shapes a new version of yourself when you sit in stillness and observe. Growth feels personal, but it ripples into the lives of others who share your time, air, and movements. As in yoga, you believe you practice for yourself, but whatever you feel and experience shapes the way you step into the world once you leave the mat. And if it’s not yoga, it may be art, sport, cooking, something you believe is only for you, yet it still molds your future interactions.

Think of the last time you felt stressed by colleagues or had a conflict with your partner, you carried it into your next action, didn’t you? Those around you saw it and noticed it. Likewise, when you practiced self-love, it became easier to share love with others. Maybe it wasn’t love as you define it; maybe it was happiness, caring, softness.

Growth is like a spiral. It never ends, it never fades. Even when you numb yourself to avoid pain or try to fill the void in your chest, growth is still unfolding. You are in constant communication with yourself, with others, with the universe, expressing a certain vibration, and in return, you will receive the same vibrations to mirror and face yourself. At some point, the cycle shifts, and clarity comes: purpose, future actions rooted in present thought, feeling, and soft heartbeat.

Engage fully in each moment. Feel each emotion as it rises. But also create space to balance, to clear, and to release what is unwelcome. The more you chase a feeling, the harder it is to accept it and grow from it. Instead, let it be. Resist the urge to control your experiences for external validation. Be with every shade of yourself, connect with what is real. Adjust how you express yourself, knowing that no one can fully understand you and no one needs to. You are capable of understanding yourself, and that is enough. Meet yourself with honesty, kindness, and softness.

Aren’t you tired of reshaping yourself to fit external expectations and unreal boxes? The only way to be your raw, authentic self is to be, grow, to experience what needs to be experienced in this precise moment. Maybe it is fear, maybe love, maybe frustration or even emptiness. Trust that all of it has a purpose: to bring you closer to your true self.

The art of living is to experience, it is the art of growth. Take a pause and observe. What are you experiencing right now? Name it without judgment. This moment has a purpose. It doesn’t need to be big, but it guides your next step. Embrace it. Embrace this breath, whether soft or heavy. Trust. Experience. Grow.
